The Program Management Academy (PMA) was established to help companies, organizations, and individuals understand and effectively utilize the principles of program management to improve their business results. |
| Russ Martinelli, Co-founder and Executive Director. Russ has expertise in program, project, and portfolio, and strategic management practices. He is a senior manager at Intel Corporation, with over two decades of experience leading global and highly distributed product development teams. He is the Chairman of Intel's world-wide Program Management Community of Practice, an adjunct professor in the Oregon university system, and noted author and industry speaker.

| Jim Waddell, Co-founder and Executive Director. Jim is an independent consultant in his fields of expertise of program management and mergers and acquisitions. He has held managerial and operational roles ranging across engineering, marketing, systems and manufacturing in the high tech and energy industries. He is the former Director of Program Management for Tektronix Inc., where he was involved in global new product development and established and led the first worldwide Program Management Office.

| Tim Rahschulte, Executive Director. Tim is an assistant professor at the George Fox University School of Management. He teaches courses in the doctor of management program and the capstone course, Transformational Leadership, in the MBA program. He is also a business transition architect for the State of Oregon responsible for enterprise-wide change initiatives. His areas of research include organizational change, human resource development, and leadership. |

| Debra Lavell, Senior Associate. Debra is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of requirements engineering and program and project retrospectives. She works as a retrospectives expert in the Corporate Platform Office at Intel. She is also a member of the Rose City Software Process Improvement Network Steering Committee and is the President of the Pacific Northwest Software Quality Conference.

| Eli Lamb, Senior Associate. Eli consults in both the high tech and renewable energy industries. He spent 20 years in the system software development industry with AT&T, Unix Europe, Sun Microsystems, and Intel. At Intel he oversaw the development of the first 1-TFLOP supercomputer, managed over 200 server software engineers, and headed up Intel’s Internet Server Program. |
